About Me

Visiting a Foreign Country

My sweet cousin absolutely adores traveling. Every year, she and her family go on multiple vacations. Recently, my cousin and her daughter vacationed in the Dominican Republic. Almost immediately after her beach trip, my adventurous relative and her husband traveled to Paris. Would you like to visit a foreign country for the first time this year? Consider hiring an experienced travel agent to help you plan a vacation you’ll be talking about for years to come. On this blog, I hope you will discover the benefits of consulting with a travel agent before traveling abroad for the first time. Enjoy!

Reasons For Millennials To Buy A Condo Instead Of A House

by Noah Mitchell

As a part of the millennial generation, you want to live life on your terms. While the American Dream may nudge you towards settling down early, buying a home with a white picket fence, and staying with a job throughout your entire career, you want more for your life. If you want to re-define your own version of the American Dream, you may still be considering buying property. After all, when you own property, a mortgage is often cheaper than rent. Not to mention, you can remodel the property to your liking. But a house might not make financial sense for your right now. Consider buying a condo instead, and think about the benefits of doing so over buying a home.

More Bang For Your Buck

One of the benefits of condo living is that you can often find a luxury condo for much cheaper than the price of a home of the same taste and value. If you prefer high-end finishes, wood flooring, high ceilings, and a great view over a big yard or 3 bedrooms, a condo might be the right fit for you. You'll be able to get more for your money that way. Plus you can spend all that money you saved on travel and other priorities.

Resort-Like Amenities

Besides higher quality living quarters, a condo often comes with resort-like amenities within the complex. You can enjoy a swimming pool, a gym, a tennis court, or a nice outdoor barbecue area. If you had bought a home in your price range, chances are good that these amenities would not be in your backyard or home. Much like in a resort, you can meet fun new people while at the pool or gym. For a social butterfly, condo living might yield more organic friendships than neighborhood living.

Urban Locations

Maybe you're the type of person who likes to be in the center of it all. If you desperately want to live in the middle of a large city, or even downtown in a smaller one, you might not be able to find a house that suits your style. When you want to live where everybody else wants to live, you need to live in a condo. But the trade-off is proximity to all of your favorite restaurants, bars, parks, and stores.

Less Maintenance

Let's face it. More space equals more maintenance. You can spend less time cleaning and doing maintenance projects and more time enjoying your life. While condo living is not for everybody, it makes a lot of sense for a hip millennial with a fast-paced life.
